if you download lime wire and download songs and you have the windows before windows vista will you get caught plz answer?

Your OS(windows XP, Vista, etc.) has nothing to do with your chances of being caught downloading copywritten material. to be on the safe side, before you download something make sure you own a legal copy of what your downloading. (Music CD, Movies, Software) Always have an original Copy. Because you are allowed to have a backup of anything you own as long as you originally bought it.

A lot of people like window before windows vista. Theres no different chances in getting caught anything. Both of them are 0. Sense millions of people around the world download from limewire they can't bust you alone. + They don't really care, they're just saying that so the artists will be happy. By the way, don't post things about "how to not get caught" on yahoo if you don't wanna get noticed.

there isn't really anyhing to get "caught" for. Limewire is completely legal. I wouldn't let a cop or an official computer place see exactly what your downloading, but "they" have nothing to see. It doesnt matter what OS you have either just the amount of security It is very rare for people to get in trouble for downloading copyrighted material anyway. It happens every day thousands upon thousands of times a day and all you ever see is a couple of idiots getting sued. Its all just scare tactics.

If you are downloading copyrighted materials you're just as likely to be found for doing so no matter what OS you're using.
Don't DL copyrighted materials!
