Get with your state department of environmental protection and sponsor a Hazardous Waste Amnesty Day.

You will be collecting tires, oil, antifreeze, pesticides, herbicides, mercury, paint, etc...

The Pennsylvania DEP will be able to assist you.

It depends what you are interested in doing. Chose your field. There are so many different programs available. A friend of mine did 200 hours in a nursing home, greeting people all day.
