Might and Might not. If your current counters/sink are really in need of replacement, then it might be a good idea. If you just want to spruce up your kitchen, I don't think it would be worth it. Granite it lovely, but it's really been overdone. Another thought is to give an allowance at the time of the sale for replacement counter tops. This will often cost less and the buyer becomes more motivated. Good Luck!

I'm guessing that in today's real estate environment that you're not going to be able to recoup the money that you put into a house for details like counter tops. The person selling her house across the street from you might have sparkling counter tops, but is willing to not "charge" for them because she really wants/needs her house to sell. So, I guess the answer is anything that makes your house stand out & sparkle will help it to sell, but not necessarily at a premium in today's environment. (depending on where you live. . .)
