I know this sounds kind of weird but it may be cat scratch fever. Seriously. My friends son had it a few months back. But if it didn't scratch you, then that's not it. It could be an allergic reaction to cat hair, however if you were around it a few days ago then that may not be it either. Unless it is actually a "ring" shape then I doubt it is a worm, more like an allergic reaction to something else or you've scratched yourself on something and its infected. If it itches and doesn't seem to be going away, make an appointment with your doctor.

Sounds like a scratch that has became a Lil infected.Call Ur doc and let him know if it itches, becomes puffy, has drainage, etc. But ringworm is round(hence the name ring) but if its not bothering u real bad,Place some neosporin on it and cover with a bandage for 2 days. Then remove bandage and let it air out.

It could be ringworm. Ringworm is a fungus, like athletes foot. It's not harmful, but it does itch a lot and can be spread from one to another. It can be treated with any anti fungal medication like Tinactin. Ringworm will look like a ring of raised red blisters and will itch. If you think it is ringworm, it's best to start treating it now so it won't spread to anyone else.

No, ringworm is in a shape of a circle, like a donut or a ring. Maybe you just got a little scratch.

well ring worm is a fungus, not a worm. and it is actually a red ring. a red patch with a line through it seems very odd and you should see a doctor.
