So I am getting married in two days. Yesterday we had our rehearsal dinner and for the first time our parents met each other.
Well it got really awkward when we discovered that my Dad had previously met my Fiance's mother - in fact they had and affair and she did not tell him that she was having a baby with him and they had not spoken for years.
Well come to find out, my Fiance is that baby. So really he is my half brother.
Now I just learned this and I am mortified, so is he and our parents.
The problem is that I just found out that I am pregnant!
Now I don't know what to do. . . .

One, I think CoralMoriarty & Penguini are incredibly sweet.

Two - I missed a roamer? Why, how dare I?!

Three, dariln', enjoy. Now your dad is also your father-in-law so you don't have to worry about yet another in-law. Plus, he's only your HALF-brother. There's only a 50% chance you'll have two-headed, hairy-palmed babies! And hey - ALL babies are beautiful.

Keep it in the family, I say! When you have a child it will be like 2 grandsons to your Dad anyway so might as well hope he's got an extra head (not there... I mean, yes there, but... oh, you know what I mean). Or two granddaughters. Imagine! Then, if you get in bed with your father, you can have a grandaughter that will automatically become your husband's niece and sister! Does it get any better than that?

No.

EDIT: LSU Tiger - I have a third arm! See? *Waves arm at Tiger*

The odds are FAR greater that she's making this up than telling the truth. It would be very unusual that his mother and her father would have had zero curiosity about who the fiance's parents are, especially being locals. It would also be curious that being locals, the families did not get together even once before the wedding. At the very least, you would have thought that the parents would have seen the wedding invitation, which would often mention the bride's parents and sometimes the groom's parents. Even if the bride's father had a common name, you would have thought the bride's mother would have at least inquired about which "John Brown" it was.

This is why most states make you do a blood test before you can get the licence. If your state didn't have this, and your story is true, then I'm sorry, and don't go through with the wedding. Make sure you tell your doctor to see if the baby will be ok and maybe you can try to get your state to make the bloodtest a requirement so that someone else doesn't go through your grief..... Again, thats if this is truely what happened.

oh my, you ARE in a pickle!! Lots of people think you are lying, but others don't. I myself am gullible so in case you are telling the truth, I think you will need to call off the wedding. I mean sure you love each other and everything, but you're brother and sister! As for the baby, you'd better ask a doctor what they think. I've heard that baby's of brothers and sisters can be deformed, so it may be better for the baby if you had an abortion :( But I'm no doctor, so you'd better check with them!
And, if this was a big lie, then thanks for the 2 points anyway :)

OMG thats the worst thing to find out well anyway you didn't know all that and you can't just leave it it's too late to do anything about it i mean you can't stop him and her for having him when it's done it their fault not yours carry errm but you should probably get the baby checked over and the wedding probably will have to be called off if you truly love each other i'm sure you can find a way to get around the problem..I hope you can gd luck@>-->--

Well, for one thing you are lying. Also, this would not be a problem even if it did happen to someone. You can't legally get married, and if you knew, you'd be totally grossed out.

This was on an episode of House...nice try.

I'm gonna assume this is real. Best bet, take yourself and your fiance in to talk to your prenatal doctor, he'll probably send you to a specialist and things will have to go from there. It takes many generations of inbreeding for birth deformities to occur.

If this is fake, it's a pretty good one.

Well I never! Had you got in first, you could have made money from your story. There was a film on TV today with exactly the same storyline! How weird is that? NOT.

Haha. How funny! You must have stayed up all night dreaming this up. You should all go on the Jerry Springer show or Dr. Phil.
