The people at the party (not the host) can't be busted for soliciting alcohol to a minor (or whatever it's called) unless the police can prove that said persons actually encouraged the underage individuals to drink (If it's a small party, this may occur. At large house parties, it's unlikely). If said persons are 21 or over and they didn't know an underage individual was there (by the judge's discretion), they are let go.

The underage people get their parents called and if the host is legal, he goes to jail.

depends in the stae of illinois it depends on the officer descreation. that is you can simply get a big ticket for having a party with loud music and another big ticket for having alchol with minors or you can serve jail time for offering drinks to minors

In Maine, they drive you to the police station and make your parents come get you. They have to do that because teens have been killed trying to drive home from parties.
