before it was supposed to happen. Most shower gifts were returned. My son is engaged again. Is it appropriate to ask people to come to a second bridal shower for my son and his new fiance?

Isn't the bridal shower for the bride? What does your son have to do with it? I can see that you might be a little bit embarassed that he and the previous girl let the situation deteriorate, but you have to decide the latest engagement on its own merits. If you thing the same thing might happen again (because you know your son and the kinds of girls he gets involved with) then I guess you're within your rights to refuse to participate.

Yes, especially if most of the gifts from the first shower were returned.

i'd carry something great to the bathe, and doubtless a splash something to the marriage. there is generally a table set up on the marriage reception for people who carry presents then. The present on the bathe is for everyone to make certain while the bride-to-be opens it. something you carry to the marriage won't get opened till later, with purely the bride & groom recent. in short, i don't think of that's mandatory to hold presents to the two, yet once you do bypass to the bathe, it may be rude to not look with a recent of a few form.

It's perfectly acceptable since the gifts were returned from the first shower.

The shower is for his new fiancee who had nothing to do with his previous engagement. Her family and friends will want to celebrate her upcoming marriage with a shower.

I would say yes. It was both good and bad. If they did not feel it was right the first situation then that is good. I think others will see it this way.
