It's a bone, you'd potentially break or chip your teeth, but if swallowd it would have the same affect basically of swallowing any bone structure I woul dimagine.

Teeth have an additional covering of enamel which is harder than actual bone. "

If the enamel wasn't present on the tooth, and the tooth was loaded with decay, it could be chewed... and it would go though your system like anything else would.

Weird!! Who would want to eat teeth anyway??? They would pass right through if you swallowed it and thats a nasty thought in itself.
