God is "all knowing" which includes "all seeing" and more. God knows what you look like and what your surroundings look like from every possible angle over the course of your entire life. God never stops looking, because if God did, then God would not be "all seeing" anymore. So an all-knowing, all-seeing God is clearly watching you poop.

Theists, do you think about this? God watching you sitting on the toilet trying to squeeze out a turd is like having 1000 video cameras pointed at you from all around the room - does that bother you?

It wouldn't bother me. And in fact, people who try to claim that God looks away while they poop probably think they can get away with sinning because God isn't paying enough attention. An all knowing (and therefore all-seeing) God is ALWAYS paying attention. What do you think?

The_Cricket, your belief completely contradicts the idea that God is all-knowing (which of course includes all-seeing). God can't be all-knowing and all-seeing if God only watches some of the time you know.

That's why it's important to eat plenty of fiber. You don't want God to laugh at you when that vein in your forehead starts bulging.

Besides, how else would God be able to find out when we've been eating corn and peanuts?

If God is all-knowing, he'd already know everything that's going to happen in the shower before you even turn on the water. He knew the outcome of said shower before he even made the choice to do anything in the beginning. There would be no logical reason to be bothered by this. The suggestion of an all knowing God suggests that everything is predetermined. Suggesting that he oogles everything that he creates in a manner that would make individuals feel uncomfortable lacks both logic and reason.

I'm sure God knows about poop... Jesus knows about poop.....

"Blind guides who strain out a gnat and swollow a camel!" (Hypocrites being full of poop)

-Matthew 23:24

"Do you not percieve that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him, because it does not enter his heart, but his stomach and goes out into the drain, thus purifying all foods?"

(about pooping and about how it is good that poop leaves the body).

-Mark 7:18-19

I don't care if God sees me poop, cause He knows we have to do that... He created us to function that way, and so it's o.k. with me.

I think that you are right....God watches you poop. Now the biggie....does God care that you are performing a totally human function.....like breathing?

I would assume that if you are in the middle of a poop and while doing so you are pulling the wings of one of his other creatures....say a butterfly....then you probably might have his attention....but just a poop....I don't think it concerns him.

So....go ahead....have a poop today.

Thats funny. I don't think about it but i agree. I'm a mom. I changed my daughter's diapers and i didn't see her in a weird way. Its probably the same as God watching us.

I believe God respects our privacy. For example, I don't believe that He watches while I'm having "couple time" with my husband, and I don't think He watches while I'm taking a shower or using the bathroom.

What *I* think is that God only actually "sees" us (I also don't believe that He has PHYSICAL eyes, He's more of a...consciousness) when we ask Him to. When I pray, I can "feel" God's "eyes" on me. The rest of the time? I don't.

He's not Santa Claus, you know. He's GOD.

He will watch you crap your pants when you are alone and He decides to pay you a physical appearance. Just ask Moses, He knows what it feels like.

Yes, He does but I doubt He looks anything beyond that.
