THis is a scam.

US checks are accepted in Europe.
I live in Holland, and received one - and it got cashed without any problems.

Anytime you see something that requires you to cash cheques, or use western union - you can be 99.99% sure it is a scam.

I run a mailinglist dealing with these type of scams - you might like to visit to learn more.

Definitely a scam. Not sure who'd you report it to, just mark it as spam and don't pass it on.

You are sent bogus checks/money orders that you are supposed to cash and then wire the majority of the money back to the sender while you keep your "commission". Within a couple weeks, your bank tells you the check bounced and requires you to repay the money to them.

Local and state police cant really do anything about it.. it would have to be reported to the FBI cyber crime..and even then not very likly to help....but if you really wanna check...if they gave a business name or website. or address or sometin you could check the www.bbb.com
