I have a photo of my youngest daughter and although I have come across red eye, the pupil in my daughters eye is yellow.

I have heard that this can be representative of a problem however do not know of what. I have looked on the internet and it is just making me more and more concerned.

I would be grateful for any information on this at all and who I should be contacting if there is a problem, i.e doctor, opticians, A&E etc.

Thanks in advance

Is it only one eye? How old is she? Take her to an optometrist. It is never normal for a pupil to come out white or yellow in a photo, this is called luekocoria. Children with retinoblastoma often show up in photos with one yellow or gold pupil, it's actually the flash hitting the tumor in the back of the eye. This is unlikely, but better safe than sorry, right?

Usually this indicates a liver problem so yes take her to the doc to find out if there is something wrong or not.
