I hope that she came here legally on a visa, even if that visa was overstayed she can still get a green card. The only penalty may be a one year stay in her home country, but maybe not it all depends. The first thing you need to do is gather your documents, marriage liscense, joint bank account statements, pictures of you two together, birth certificates for both, your social security card and last three years of tax returns.
Next step, you need to decide if you want to file the paperwork on your own, or use an attorney. I used a paralegal to fill and file my husbands paperwork at less than half the cost of retaining an attorney.
I wish you guys luck!

Consult an immigration lawyer in your home state. They can explain the costs and process for filing for residency. Each form you file has a fee acssociated with it, so the price can vary. Good luck.

The best thing you can do is get a good lawyer to help you, if she didn't cross the border illegally you can totally get her the papers, if she did it could be possible that she has to go back home for some time, and you'll have to do the paper works there.
GOOD LUCK, HOPE YOU CAN GET HER TO BECAME LEGAL!!

Have you filed an I-130 petition for her? If so, when? Has anyone filed an I-130 petition for her, sibling or parents?

check on-line. Hopefully she hasn't been here ILLEGALLY for 7 years. If so, she must return to her home country to start the paperwork - that's the law.
