It DOESN'T; not in the Bible. (as you may have gathered from your answers, so far...) }:>
Unless you read the version transated by the same person who translated "maiden" (unmarried female) as "virgin" (no sexual experience) ... not EXactly the same things... }:>
Many versions have substituted the word "catamite" for "homosexual". The honest ones say so.
a "catamite" is a VICTIM; not responsible for the act; and certainly NOT the same thing as "homosexual".
Homosexuality is a GENETIC difference. (Unless you believe God made a mistake, or that He created people already damned ?) bah.
Not likely, either one.

It is a passage in Leviticus. Varies on which version you get.

Same book also says that if you require glasses, you are unworthy of becoming a priest, shellfish is bad, and a bunch of other useful tips.

Basically the book is an instruction manual on life. How not to suck at it, how not to be poor, how to not die of food poisoning. Who you should stone to death, who you can or cannot marry... stuff like that.

The way I perceive the passage is more like, "Don't have anal. It's dirty... and you and your woman ain't gonna be enjoying the potential infections that can occur when YOU don't clean up immediately following."

The age old, Don't put it THERE, then slip it in THERE.

Doesn't say anything about heaven or hell, just basically says don't. The concepts of heaven and hell don't come in to play at all.

This is the only mention of it. Lots of people go after Sodom and Gamorrah because Sodom = Sodomy = m4m buttsecks. It's common for folks who haven't actually read the book to make that connection. Most people who throw that one out don't even know what happened to Lot's wife.

1 Cor: 6:9-10
Bible does not describe homosexuality as a “greater” sin than any other. All sin is offensive to God. Homosexuality is just one of the many things listed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that will keep a person from the kingdom of God. According to the Bible, God’s forgiveness is just as available to a homosexual as it is to an adulterer, idol worshipper, murderer, thief, etc. God also promises the strength for victory over sin, including homosexuality, to all those who will believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation (1 Corinthians 6:11; 2 Corinthians 5:17).

1 Cor. 6:9- which has already by quoted- however I will add something here- all sinners will be in hell, unless they accept Christ as their Savior and repent of their sins- not just homosexuals. Even liars, and those who sleep with the same sex before marriage- however the optimum words here are repent and accept. All sinners, I am not pointing fingers here, because ALL SIN AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. So no one will be in heaven without Christ.

Having homosexual tendencies or bisexual tendencies does not mean you will go to hell. Acting on those tendencies is a sin. All un-repented sin will lead to hell.

Homosexuality and bisexuality is disordered. The sexuality that God gave us mirrors the relationship Christ has with his Bride the Church. This relationship can only eternally be male and female. In marriage and sexual union we embrace each other in a life-giving love that is representative of God's love in it's essence. I'm not saying God's love is sexual but that sexuality in it's purest form was meant to be a union of sacrifice of ourselves to each other. The same way in which Christ sacrificed and gave himself to us and in love we give ourselves back to him.

This cannot happen in a same-sex relationship. It is disordered sexuality. It perverts the sexuality that God gave to us.

The problem is our society longs to justify sexual sin, in many forms. Pornography, adultery, fornication and homosexuality. Just because society believes it to be "ok" hardly makes it so.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-11) 9 What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, 10 nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. 11 And yet that is what some of YOU were. But YOU have been washed clean, but YOU have been sanctified, but YOU have been declared righteous in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and with the spirit of our God.

(Leviticus 20:13)  “‘And when a man lies down with a male the same as one lies down with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing. They should be put to death without fail. Their own blood is upon them. . .

Lev 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

That would be:

"Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God." 1Cor 6:9,10

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Jude 1:7 "In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire."

Heb 13:4 "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."

Furthermore Jesus said concerning marriage "at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’" of which he took as a precedent for marriage

Genesis 19
24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
