I have not even been qualified yet to do my job on my own. I can not get a high epr because I am unable to do the job in a quick manner. I am not sure what to do. Any help would be great. Oh I am a mechanic.

you cannot cross train until you have been in the current job for 2 years. If it is currently undermanned, you will not be allowed to cross train.

What are you doing to fix the problem> are you working on your own time, are you asking for help, are you studying the manuals? Nobody will be willing to cut you a break if they don't see you honestly trying your hardest to be better.

Go to your Career Conselor and ask to make a lateral move. Pull your training file and show that you've not completed the PQS for your job and show also your evals demonstrating your insufficiencies.

If you are in the military, and still haven't completed AIT, I'm not sure what you could do other than going through your chain of command and request a reclassification. If you have completed AIT and some of your enlistment, offer to reenlist to reclassify.
Go to your unit career counsler.

Believe me if you suck at what you are doing your NCOs already noticed. If they havent changed your MOS yet it might be because they believe you can do it. Have no fear, your NCOs know what they are doing and if they feel the need to change your job then they will.
