This kid is going to ask me to homecoming.
How do i say no without being bitter? I like him but just not as much as he likes me. And I dont want to hurt his feelings.

GUYS How would you like to be rejected?
Any lines?

ok. first of all just dont say flat out "no" cause then he will give up on you and possibly like you less. If he knows you know he likes you, then tell him you like him too but you just havent decided who you are going with yet. Do NOT say you already have a date when you dont. So if he likes you a little more than you like him tell him you like him but you're not ready for the whole dance thing. Maybe propose a movie date or something?

This really depends on what YOU really want to do.
Do you want to spare your feelings or his?

The right thing to do is to lay it out honestly. This guy is probably in the 'friend zone' with you. The best thing to do is to tell him straight up how you feel. It may hurt a little more in the beginning, but it will be for the best in the long run.

I'm a girl but last time I turned down a guy I got another guy's advice.

Just say,

"Oh I'm really sorry I don't think I can go with you ! :( Me and my mates were just going to go as a group and i can't really let them down. Ooooh :( I'm so sorry."

It might not be clear from that that you don't like him, and he'll probably still feel a little upset, but you could use an excuse like that if it's easier.

Hope I helped !
