Depends what you mean when you say 'boyfriend'.
If you think about having sex and serious relationship, than its' definitely too early!!!
If you're talking about cute stuff like holding hands, kissing in the rain and stuff, than it's OK.

Yes, I think that 13 is too young for a boyfriend. At least, it is too young to have a serious boyfriend. I have seen puppy love and when the girl and boy play and hit each other playfully. But a serious relationship is not good right now. It can mess you up emotionally. Just have fun and enjoy being 13 because you are only that age once. You have plenty of time for all the drama that comes with relationships later on when you get older.

At 13 I felt like I was an adult. But thats just maturing and growing up. You being 13 with a boyfriend is too early. I hate to say it but I am agreeing with your Aunts and grandparents. You are still young enough to make your life work perfectly and young enough to mess it up with feelings. At 13 no one finds their soul mate or life long partner. I suggest you break it off and work on becoming friends. If there is attraction in a few years, rekindel!!
HOPE THIS HELPS!

Depends on a lot but yes. I think 13 is too young. However, if he's 13, it's probably harmless. If he's older than 14, he's too old for you just yet. TRUST ME! I dated a 17 year-old when I was 13 and it was just confusing and painful. A complete waste of time.

It's different for everyone. I do know some people who can handle a boyfriend at a relatively young age. However, 13 is coming pretty close to young. It depends on what you consider a boyfriend is.

there is not any awesome or incorrect age to commence having a boyfriend. the main intense component is which you sense waiting for it and it fairly is the awesome component for you. Your pal does not sound very mature if she is boasting that she has a great form of distinctive boyfriends. once you do sense waiting to have a boyfriend, the main intense component is which you the two have faith one yet another and consult from a minimum of one yet another. you moreover could ought to have the potential to tell him in case you're uncomfortable approximately something or if issues are shifting too quickly. i'm specific you're a stunning lady and could have the potential to discover a boyfriend once you're arranged. undergo in innovations there is not any ought to hurry into something. do no longer concern approximately whilst to discover a boyfriend, confirm you come across the awesome boy, who will take care of you with the affection and appreciate you deserve

I suppose it depends on what type of person you are. Are you a person that is easily influenced by your peers? How mature are you? What kind of values do you have.
These are things I would take into consideration when the times comes to my own children getting to that stage.
To me, it seems like kids are younger these days and are experimenting with certain things way too early.
Perhaps your aunt and grandmother are just worried about your well being and want you to make smart choices. No doubt, they have observed what I mentioned above.

I agree with your aunts and grandmother
13 is quite a young age you know..at the age people think that they're old enough to be dating but sometimes it's not a good age to be dating.

Enjoy life and your friends. A boyfriend right now will only cause problems between your family and friends. Trust me there will be plenty of time in the future for boyfriends.

I think you should wait at least until you're 16 because if things don't work out with you then you'll be depressed and stressed something you don't need at a young age.
