Because if you spray it 8-10 inches away from your feet it won't do your hair any good.

It is so you don't cause build up in your hair. If you get too close with the bottle you risk the chance of getting too much in one area. When you do that it tends to build up and leave white marks in your hair. Which is not good for your hair b/c build up can cause it to split but also it doesn't look nice.

that is the best distance for better coverage. Plus if you get too close it only soaks your hair in the one area. The further out you hold the can the more area it reaches evenly.

It helps with even coverage so you don’t end up with crunchy gobs. Are you old enough to remember 80s mall hair? Nobody wants to see you like that now.

uhhh so that it doesnt look plastered to ur head and for good coverage and hold that isnt clumpy and white stuff wont chip off then
