Chronic amnesia? That sounds like a scientific explanation for something, does not compute with religion.

Again, your question reminds me of something I watched... Arg, what in the world was it? "23" is one of the things it reminds me of but there's another one where the movie played backwards. The guy had to leave notes for himself before he went to bed because after an accident he had no short term memory at all.

The short answer to your question though is: "Only God can say."
He knows us and takes into consideration everything we're up against.

If they have no memory they would have no desire to commit sin because they wouldnt be to remember why they want to do something
