Alcohol is evaporating the water in the brain. The brain shrinks and later expands when you drink all the water with a hang over. So, over years the brain is damaged by all the evaporation. This leads to disease.
Lucifer got hold of Satan's device and used it to 'suck' a person's brain. This can be alot of things. A Luciferian might be using another human, like the ears or eyes. Luciferians love to stare through other people's eyes and hear what they hear. The real smart Luciferians say they are 'sucking' the person's life or 'making' them. This means they see and hear things that they think is that person's life. So, being cowards, they use this is their own life and to protect themselves from Lucifer and paying for what they buy. The person being 'sucked' is the victim, not the Luciferian, which really means he is going after bodies, which is all Luciferians do.
The Luciferians using other people's bodies causes the brain to shrink and expand, alot like alcohol, so Luciferians use alcoholics as an excuse for trading themselves for the person they are using and the disease that they have or would like to give another person. The idea of one drink is that the person is damned now and can be used like an alcoholic.
Like alcohol, the more Luciferians use a person the worse it is, so, you need to make sure they stop right away. Usually, the only way to do this is have them cease to exist, like they were always supposed to when they go after another person's body.

There are too many variables to answer the question in terms of time. Alcohol affects the brain in at least two ways. Alcohol is a neurotoxin, and persons who drink a lot and often expose their brains to the adverse effects of alcohol to a greater degree. Gradually the limbic system is affected and dopamine levels fluctuate, causing depression and psychosis.
Secondly, many alcoholics are so focused on drinking that they forget to eat a balanced diet. Thiamine deficiency is the most common malady that results, producing what is known as Wernicke's encephalopathy.
The fetal brain is most subject to the adverse effects of alcohol. Pregnant women who dring only moderately may still give birth to a child with fetal alcohol syndrome.

1 drink is all it takes, every drink you take, you lose brain cells.
