We all know that guys love the cool toys.....sports cars, sport bikes, modified rice burners, etc. I would think that most of these guys think that their cool rides impress the ladies...
Ladies only...give me the low down......does a flashy car get your attention, detract your attention, or has no affect whatsoever? If not offended, please include age range to see if there is a difference in opinion based on age.

No. I might say oh I like your car but then after that if you are boring or unnappealing it will not help you just to have a nice car. you ont have my age group up ther you just skipped my age.

I do believe that guys think they are something great if they have a nicer ride than most of the other guys. I car has no meaning to me. I am 27 and my husband is 35, when we meet 9 years ago his ride was a bike. Yeah one you pedal. He had lost his license so that was his transportation. It didn't change the way I felt for him. We now have 4 kids a van, a Yukon, 64 Chevy, a Geo metro for good gas, a Harley Davidson, and a boat. Some of those guys I know that always had nice rides now are driving beat down junk. Do not let the ride impress, just the person inside.

Uhh when I was 18 I once dated a guy becuase he had an awesome mustang..lol But now I would never choose a person because of the type of car they have or do not have! You will get dates, sure, you will be noticed more, sure...but you will not get quality dates. girls from 15-about 24 will be all into that. But they are immature at that age, and wouldnt you rather have a mature woman who did not care what kind of ride you had?
Look carefully, you forgot an age group. Its the one I am in!

Fact more so towards the younger aged women though even the ugliest men with no repsect for women driving flashy rides get plenty of dates just based upon his ride alone. Im more into fully loaded luxury cars though, minus the dubs & the kicker box I find those type of cars to be destracting b/c I think some men need to grow up & spend their money more wisely. I think its not as impressive with older women b/c some of us already have our own nice rides, then you always have the guys with large ego's b/c they riding good & be big jerks my age is 25 to 30.

Believe it or not, Cool cars get many guys a date. Especially with the younger crowd. With me, those days are long gone. If I want to be in a cool car, I buy it myself. age 36-45.

I am a female over 30 and what gets my attention is a sweet looking truck.
I don't care for flashy cars , you can not do much with them and I would be afraid to drive one knowing how much it cost if it got scrathed I would freak. So to me flashy useless cars are a no go.

I'm into cars, rims, systems, all that stuff. But a car is a car and a man aint a car. There aint no way I'm going to go out with a guy simply because he has a nice whip.

nope, not really. A clean, well maintained car is always nice. You didn't include my age range. I'm 27, but it still didn't matter when I was younger. Actually if a guy drove a really flashy car, I always wondered what he was compensating for.

Myth...I could careless about a 'cool car'....Well it may get my attention but a car would not land a guy a date with me! I'm 26 by the way!
