I love brown and blue together, too ... depends on what look you want, though. I'd use a chocolate-brown (rich shade, and not tooo dark) in either case, but the blue could be either very light and cool (like glacier-blue) and would look more sophisticated, or a brighter, more vibrant blue (like cobalt) for a younger, more fun look. You can easily find some bedding in browns and blues that you like before you decide on the paint. It's easier to match paint to fabric than the other way around.
If you go with the darker blue, make sure you have some white in the room, too ... maybe also a light tan ... or the whole thing could seem too heavy.
Have fun creating your new room! Good Luck!

Color combos:
- Light Sky/Beachside Raffia
- Mexico City Yellow/Aegean Blue
I also like Blue Island, Montego Bay, Big Sur Blue...
I really don´t like blue and brown together, but it looks fancy...

I just did a room the same. Walls are a light blue with a little tinge of green in it and I already have dark stained wood around the windows and doorways. It came out so good and have gotten a lot of compliments. Also added a lot of bright white accessories. Hope i helped

Chocolate brown and a med tone of blue. Not a light blue because it needs to stand out with the brown. It shouldn't be bright blue either tho.
Like this combination. The blue is soft but not to light.
