As much as I hate to say it....there is NO way to rush the VA. The VA like any other government agency....runs at one speed... slow...well...perhaps two speeds...slow and slower.

My question to you...is how many of these issues were there when he was discharged? If all of them...10% isn't proper. You might want to attempt to run a parallel path and have him re-evaluated for the disabilities.

Right now...with all the men and women returning from Afghanistan and Iraq.... the VA is overwhelmed...and it will be difficult to even get a state senator or someone to support you in attempting to rush the VA.

Sorry for giving this answer...but been there and been through it.

Good luck to you and to your Dad.

As the other people said you CAN NOT rush the people who work at the VA.

You dad need to talk with either someone at the State VA Commission or possible go and have a complete reevaliation to get up to date medical information for the claim.

There really is no way to hurry a claim. I suggest he talks to his CVSO (County Veteran Service Officer). He needs to take a C&P exam, then it goes into review.

My son is needing help and so far it has taken 2 months.

there is no way to hurry a claim up. It will be processed as fast as it is processed. that's what his VA rep is for.
