No, There is actually a diet called three apples a day and part of the diet is to actually eat an apple before every meal. What ever is in an apple is actually supposed to help you lose weight.

Its better than eating 3-4 doughnuts a day!
But yes its very healthy. Its always good to have a variety of fruits but even if you do just stick to having the same fruit instead of bad things, its definetly a good choice.
I eat a lot of apples too! My fav is Gala :)

usually only the next day as you are running to the bathroom alot
try eating different fruits or have the apple cut up & slightly cooked on top of pancakes
