My son was perscribed adderal. He was given AMPHETA S/COMBO 5 MG By the pharmacy. I am supposed to give him 1/2 a tablet every morning. I just want to know if any of you have any experiance with this drug and if you do then how has it effected you or your child.

Adderall is also known as dextroamphetamine and amphetamine. My grandson takes this and it has made a tremendous difference in him. He is now able to focus in school and participate in structured activities. Like any drug, it has side effects and you weigh the benefits against the risk of side effects. For more info:

The generic form must be new or not offered in my area, however my daughter was taking Adderall previously. We had to switch because of side effects.

I haven't heard any complaints. Most people are happy that the cost is less.
