of people 'signing' their Answers? I mean, really, I can look 3mm to the left of the actual answer and SEE who the hell posted it. I don't need a confirmation mini-sig at the end of the response. Seriously. Gawd!

Jack: At least you're all witty and humorous about it. I'm talking more about the t!ts that just 'sign' their name, right under the response, not even in the Source box. Beh.

No, that's just so they know which answer is theirs when it comes to a vote, because they can't tell it from the other 15.

I always have a distinctive signature, "This answer has been brought to you courtesy of Jack". It evolved from my courteous display of manners and has become my much-imitated trademark. I originated it, however, as anyone will tell you, so if there is to be blame cast, it may as well be cast at me.
Originality is not often appreciated, but there are better things in R&S to cast ridicule on--perhaps the constant bashing and lack of respect?

Yes, The Nolte finds that pretentious practice almost as annoying as those who refer to themselves in the third person.

EDIT: sorry I didn't really answer your question.... I don't think Jesus approves of pride, arrogance, hatred.... you know... the important stuff.
But signatures, meh... it's not necessarily bad manners to sign your name every now and then....

at first i read that as "signing their amens". wtf is wrong with me? oh yea...whiskey....
the same types of people that sign their names (in some, not all cases) are the same ones that will sit and write their names over and over and over again on a piece of paper or on their desk blotter. self affirmation. brought on by self esteem or lack thereof.
