You can give a puppy a bath, all of it can get washed, just dry it real good. The best soap to use is Baby Shampoo. The chemicals in dog soap can make dogs sick. Dry food is better, but, you can do what I do, I feed dry food during the day and one can of Pedigree at night. I haven't had any problems with my Pits doing that.

Ah. welcome to the world of puppies.
Don't need to bathe Baby unless she's really stinky. And pitties are not usually stinky - unless they roll in something.
Soap and other shampoos etc. can irritate dogs eyes - so try not to get any in her eyes. A drop of good old fashioned mineral oil (NOT Baby oil!) in each eye can help deflect the stray suds.
Most puppy formulated dog foods are fine. Changing them a lot will cause diarrhea so find a brand you like and stick with it. She'll not get bored.
Now then, You're no doubt in the chewy stage. This will last for another 18 months!!! and some of them never grow out of it. SO buy Baby things like Kong and give her a blankie she can play with until it's been loved into oblivion. Baby-proof your house - put shoes in closed closets. put the computer behind closed doors. Put remote controls up high where Baby can't get to them.
Make sure Baby gets plenty of exercise (you don't need the TV anyway) and take her to obedience class. A well trained dog is a pleasure to be around. And the socialization will do everyone a lot of good. Pitties make excellent jogging partners.
Look into activities like agility and fly-ball - excellent sports for an active dog like a pittie.
But most of all, make sure she's been SPAYED!!!!

The way I bathe my dogs is by putting them in the bath tub, not filled with water (they try to drink it!), and by using the shower head, give them a good soak with warm water (I did this when they were pups too). Lather them up with shampoo (preferably baby shampoo, its very mild and wont cause irritations), then rinse. Make sure you rinse well so there is no left over soap residue. You can dry them off right there in the tub. Just make sure you don't get water in your dogs ears, its very uncomfortable for your dog and if left in there, can cause nasty bacteria growth. If you do, use your towel and gently dry them out as best you can.
As for the food...I don't know about the quality of that brand (I don't use it) but I would recommend using dry food. Its better for their teeth :)
EDIT: I agree with Roxy and Barbara..don't bathe to often and only when needed..

You would be better to put your pup onto a dried food and occasionally mix a small amount of the tinned food through as a bit of a treat. When bathing your dog keep the water away from the ears, eyes and nose. Don't bath too often as it strips the coat of its natural oils.

I wash my lil 7 mo APBT in the tub and he actually loves it. I use a puppy shampoo w/ oatmeal in it because APBTs do have sensitive skin and oatmeal helps with not drying his skin out. As for as the food is concerned, I can't answer that...I don't use Wellness. Good luck

If she is 8 months old, this should be her first heat. Dogs will come into heat every 6 months. She could have an infection, She needs to be seen by a Vet ASAP, it could be life threatening.

If you're only feeding canned food, your pup will probably have really loose stools. You need to be feeding a dry kibble as well. It is great for their teeth and hold more nutritional value than canned food. I just use the bathtub for my pup and avoid getting anything in her eyes.
