Hi i am 36 years old and have just split from my girlfriend who's 30. We were together fo four years and i thought we'd spend the rest of our lives together, i proposed and she accepted a year ago. 2 years ago she started a new job working in a furniture shop she made loads of new friends which i was really pleased with as before she was quite quiet and only had one friend from school. She was always goin out drinkin with these other girls(in there 20's) and i didnt mind as i told her i wanted her to do whatever made her happy, i asked her to spend more time with me and we set aside three nights a week to be together. When we first started going out after 4-5 months we said we wanted children together, ive always wanted kids and long to be a dad, we agreed to wait til we were financially secure as i was in loads of debt then, we were in a better situation for the last year but when i brought it up she'd flip out! Now she's gone, will i ever find a woman2 mother my kids? or to late now!

You're not too old to be a dad. I would say once you get into your mid-late 40s it's pushin it. Just because A you need tons of energy to raise a kid and B you'd be about 65 at your kid's high school graduation. But in the mean time don't worry you're still young. Just wait for the right lady that will be an excellent wife and mom.

Are you mad? How is 36 too old to have kids? Most people are only starting at your age. But please don't look at women as baby making machines. And don't decide to have children just because you want to "spread your seed". Good luck with meeting someone nice. Just put yourself back on the market - just make sure you're ready. xo

physically, most men can have children into their 80's. if you're talking about being able to keep up with them and being around while they grow up, you are no way to old. lots of guys don't become fathers until they're in their late 40's or 50's. don't give up yet. you've lots of years ahead of you.
