I have a labrador pup. Off late it has been showing some wolf like behavior patterns. Otherday it ferociously bit my hand while i was about to feed it. Its also growling. I am a bit apprehansive if I got the right breed. Please help me.

This is birds section, but since you asked. Lab pups have smooth coats, wolf have thicker fluffier coats. Labs also love food and often can't wait to have it and that's why it went for your hand. It needs training and get to know manners.

Snowbarbie is absolutely right. Both terms are correct. Here in the UK, we generally use cub - I've never heard anyone here use pup, but I've heard several Americans use it. In zoological terms, both are acceptable.

labradors are meant to be the most friendly and easy to train, so dont worry you probably just need to do some training with him

most puppies look the same apart from size until they get to a certain age then who knows what you might have if they are medium to large dogs
