Hey, i get excema on my hands and face and i know how annoying it can be! If you go to the doctors you can get actual cream for it, but until then just keep the dry areas moisturised and clean! Don't wear any makeup but you've already said you can't so thats ok! E45 cream is a really good moisturiser to use until you get perscribed cream from the doctor which shoudl actually clear it up. Try not to use any perfumed products on your face, use only simple or hypoallergenic skin products.
I hope this helps you, i used to get soo down about my excema i still do sometimes when i can't use funky bubblebaths and things but as long as your skins clear its all good! lol

Poor you! I had eczema on my face when I was younger. It's worth seeing your gp, they may prescribe some hydrocortisone for your face - but use sparingly as it can thin the skin (but ok to use if gp advises).
Also taking high strength oil of evening primrose capsules can help.
The eczema may be caused by an allergy so taking antihistames could relieve the itching - piriton or something similar from the chemist.
The main thing is to keep it moisterised with a non perfumed emolient - again your gp should be able to prescribe something. My son also has eczema and he gets diprobase on presciption, which he also uses to wash in. It is available over the counter too, if you haven't go time to see your gp.

My little boy gets it. We have discovered that calamine cream works a treat on it and is very cheap from the chemist. Much better for the skin too than all the horrid evil creams that are prescribed. we found that E45 products actually made it worse for him! Good luck.

my mum gets this she says because of change of temperature in house, eg heating etc. She uses e45 but then said she heard it is rubbish and makes skin sore when putting it on? Ive never had eczeme "touch wood" but i would think moistorising your face with a fragrance free or smell free product would help if not docs would tell you what u need, but try e45?

try E45 cream. You can use it on your face, it will keep your skin moist and help with any flaking and itching.
