I am sorry, but Hitler was not a atheist.
Some guy said he was.
And he was not.

I am a believer of God, but that just goes to show you, just because you believe in God, does not make you a good person.

Hitler was not a atheist. I am not proud that he thought he was doing "gods bidding by killing jews", cause thats is stupid, but he was not a atheist.

Anyone else know this to be true? Anyone else actually attend school?

he's just being an a**, ignore him. I'm not sure how old you are but I had a friend once who was very small and she thought she'd never get any bigger but she did. I think she was about 17 or 18 when she sort of 'grew' but now she's an average size. Your size will most probably change as you get older so don't worry about it, and even if it doesn't, not everyone is built the same way and there are plenty of guys who understand that and it won't bother them at all :)

No he was not an atheist but a Heretic and Megalomaniac, in his heresy he used the God of the Bible to support his actions,in his megalomania he believed he was Gods revenge on the Jews.
Hitler is a prime example of using whatever is available to further one`s own lust for power and glory.

You are correct. Hitler was a religious fanatic of the worst kind. Many psychopaths throughout history have used the name of God to justify their heinous acts.

"My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was His fight for the world against the Jewish poison. To-day, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed His blood upon the Cross. As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice... And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people."

Hitler was anything but an atheist. You could make the claim he wasn't actually Christian either. But he clearly believed in a god.

Yep, you are correct. In fact he actually had a huge campaign that was to prove God had chosen him and the German people as the master race. He would use propaganda from the Bible to prove this.
He also had a campaign to find the artifacts of christian antiquity. Thinking they would assure his victory.
Great question!

Anyone who has ever researched the subject knows that Hitler was a German nationalist and his ideology was borrowed from Alfred Rosenburg. You should research it, and find that it is an atheist, racialist ideology. I suppose as a history major with a BA in history, I should know this.
