I use 2b like that in my early 20's what I did to overcome it was,

1. Pray about it
2. Stop and think b4 I answer a question or say something
3 Pressed my self to be honest

After a while it felt so good so liberating and WOW!
I dont have to remember any lies, dodge people when I see them or lie on top of lies.

Now im known for being blunt and truthfull and it feels much better. People like me for that and often include me in conversations and activities, ask for my opinion becasue I am SO truthful. Plus think about this the people you are lying to know it they are just too polite to say anything to your face.

There is a song my bro used to sing

When you tell one lie
It leads to another
Then you tell two lies
To cover each other
Then you tell three lies
Then Oh Brother Your up to your ears
So you lie and lie
To try and protect you
You tell more lies so folks wont suspect you

I forgot the rest Im sorry.

~A white lie is a simple lie used to protect another person, for example saying the their new haircut looks good when it really looks like they got into a fight with a lawnmower; or lying to hide the fact that you are throwing them a surprise party.

If you are telling lies about yourself so that you appear to be a different person - for example saying that you are 16 when you are really 14; or saying that you once met Cuba Gooding Jr when thats just not true - is an outright lie. There is nothing white about that.

If you are telling these lies, try to pay attention to when you do it and what you say. When you catch yourself attempting to tell a lie, stop yourself and tell the truth, or just change the subject altogether. It takes time but trust me, you'll feel better about yourself in the end.

What I try and remember about little white lies, which actually are just lies, with a "it is not so bad" in front of it- however when we start telling these lies, they will catch up with you, because when we do this, we have to remember everything we told someone else,etc.. The truth is always the truth. It is not easy, but what we all have to do, with whatever sin is entangling us, put it to death. Pray that the Holy Spirit will remind you each and every time that you are thinking of saying that little white lie, and then also know that whatever comes out of your mouth, must be glorifying to God. You did make it a habit- and a habit can only be gotten rid of by "killing" it. Just saying you will never do it again, is also a lie-
I hope that you are taking this as I am intending- I am also reminding myself that anything that is sin, needs to be put to death, and since Jesus died on the cross to save us FROM sin, and rose from the death to give us victory- only through the power of His Spirit can we live this way- any one of us. "IT is not by might or power, but by His Spirit".

The repercussion would be conflict interior of, and would carry back the liberty of religious strengthen. There would be a could dangle directly to the shown fact that the small white lie have been instructed, with the intention to conceal it at a destiny time. desiring to dangle directly to something as we bypass by using existence isn't beneficial. i think that lies imprison, they do away with the liberty of who we are on a human and spiritual point. it is likewise unkind to the guy that the lie has been instructed to, inflicting them to doubt themselves, doubt their gut instincts, grow to be puzzled. that's continually superb to return from a place of finished fact, and then possible pass thoroughly freely and unencumbered by using existence, and proceed to be able to peace of strategies. with love Sunny woman :) :) :) Sparing yet another's emotions ....... there is generally a thank you to accomplish that without desiring to lie. If asked, many human beings would say we choose the fact to a lie. If in area of fact coming from a place of unquestionably loving motive then it could not reason harm.

I've never been able to successfully tell "little white lies." I'm a horrible liar. So I don't really know.

Apologize and start speaking the truth. If the truth is harmful, don't say anything.
