are all police occifers and soldiers,etc.. that have killed someone going to burn in hell?
should weNOTbe policed ,in any way and just go by what we feel is right(according to the bibble), and hope everybody else does, too?
that would make sense,as far as the "no worldly possessions "deal goes, too.
because the less bling you're flashing ,the less ppl want to take anything away from you. ...including,of course -your life,to get to it. whatever IT is..

the commandment is ,
"THOU SHALT NOT KILL". k.i.l.l. kill.
it says nothing about anything to do with murder or selfdefense or 'unless it's for a war-then it's time out and okay to kill.
. that is all open to interpretation.

The commandment is "Thou shalt not murder" not thou shalt not kill. Soldiers and police are doing their job, not murdering. As far as worldly possessions it doesn't mean you can't have any. It means don't put all your faith and worth into worldly possessions. They are only temporary. Put your faith in God & Jesus Christ because that is where eternity lies. You can't worship money and worship God at the same time. Have faith that God will provide for you and He will. What He provides may not be exactly what you want but just like parents he provides what you need. And just like children we may not think it is what we need but God knows better than us and has a plan for everyone.

According to the bible it tells us to also follow the laws of the land so we should be policed if everybody did what they felt was right people would be killiing, raping, stealing, having sex in front of schools it would be a very unpleasant world even more so than now. And I dont believe that the soldiers that lost their lives doing their duty will go to hell.

In the Hebrew - the correct translation to English is "murder" not "kill"............You'll find in the newer translations that the correct word is used and it reads: You shall not murder.......
Sometimes you might accidently kill someone or in self-defense or defending freedom in war.............those are incidents of kill.
Murder is a planned taking of another life and is a sin.

HHMMM very interesting question, I think that If you break that comandments and you seriously repent for it then you have no problem with going to heaven.....remember jesus at the cross....." father forgive them for they know not what they are doing " They were the police of their time and far worse than the one in our time......so say this when you repent for your sins no matter how big or small....being that they are all sins... and you repent will you mean it?? knowing that Jesus Christ died for our sins........Will you try not to do it again? Thats the question....

Why don't you people ever learn from answers to this question in the forum. The 6th commandment is ; '... you shall not murder' (Exodus 20:13).
You really are in LaLa Land.

No, self-protection isn't homicide, as long as you do not kill the guy as quickly as they have already been stopped or disabled. And there are circumstances whilst conflict is justified, and to that end not homicide, as is a merely sentence placed on a criminal as life like punishment for the crime.

Are you referring to, "Thou Shall Not Murder"? "Murder" is different then "Kill"
If I break into your house and kill you to steal your TV that's murder...that's wrong.
If I break into your house and you kill me while trying to steel your TV that's not murder.
People use kill & murder as the same word. They are completely different.
