I'm an agnostic, I'm not at war with Islam or Christianity, but their religions are sometimes at war with me, each other and the world. Who are you suggesting has to 'defeat' Islam?

Why on Earth should Islam be defeated? It's an established religion, and largely quite a peaceful one at that, and people have the right to practice it if they like.

I will not be fighting for or against any religion. The Fundamentalists have forgotten that God gave man the free will and intellect to make his own choices. Christians and Muslims that force conversion (either by the sword or by legislation) are an insult to their own God. Certainly he is powerful enough to force anyone (or everyone) to convert if he so wills it.
But that is not good enough for you. You must make up for your own shortfalls by badgering those that do not agree with you. You should spend more time seeking within yourself the perfection of your father in heaven. But you will not. It is much easier to seek out imperfection in others.
I think that many of you will be in for a great surprise when you pass on to your "reward".

Islam doesn't need to be defeated. Without the christians, there are noone left to provoke the muslims, and the world will be at peace.
