Husband's friend has a wreck and is not feeling well. Has to stay at his ex wife's house until he feels better. Would it be weird if I baked him some brownies, muffins, cookies to take to him? We are going to see him tonight.

As long has your Husband and you are on the same page I don't see why not. Thats very thoughtful of you, what happened to the days of wives making baked goods all the time? :) I think we need to bring that back. :)

Of course not! For heaven's sake!

That is, of course, friend has some kind of stomach ailment. In which case maybe flowers or a balloon bouquet would be a better choice.

How long is this guy going to be incapacitated? If he's laid up for a long time, consider a couple of good books (like magic tricks, etc.) that he can amuse himself with during his recovery (daytime TV is so mundane!). Or, perhaps some magazines that appeal to his favorite hobbies.

It sounds like you enjoy baking. If this is the case, I think it is a good idea. Be careful to take into consideration how your husband feels about it. Communicate first, before you do anything.

I don't think so, so long as you know the guy, which is sounds like you do. Don't go overboard becaue that may be strange, but I am sure he will appreciate the gesture. I used to do the same for my boyfriend's friend if he was down or if I baked and had extra.

Only bake them for the time the recipe says. Store them in an airtight container. Insert tooth pick if it comes out clean or almost clean take them out of the oven.

As long as you are not trying to get him to notice you. If you are just a nice woman, just make sure it's okay with your husband first.

It's fine as long as you know you are not having a crush on him.
