What could possibly make you think that our troops are fighting for Israel?

We do support Israel for the simple reason that they are a democracy and share our values. With few exceptions, such as Turkey, most Moslem states do not. Quite the opposite.
Currently our troops are NOT fighting for Israel. Our troops have NEVER fought for Israel. What they are fighting for is questionable, but it sure isn't for israel.

The U.S. and Israel ARE on the same side. We have the same objective: to eliminate Islamic fascists. I'm a military fiction author and know a lot about alliances and why we fight.
