Symptoms: I have trouble relating to people, I feel as though I dont know how to make conversation and also I feel as though I really dont like being around people(besides family) at all.Everytime someone talks to me I blush! Im really shy,(as you can probably already tell) I have trouble expressing myself in words,I feel I express myself better in writing. And,I also prefer being with animals rather then people. Please let me know whether you think I DO have a mental disorder that you know of, that might match my symptoms (and tell me what it is ) or if you think its just a severe case of shyness.I would really appreciate your opinions.

I dont think you have a mental disorder... I myself relate more to animals then I do people but can adjust myself in social settings. I think you might be a little antisocial (shyness) or have social anxiety. A little counseling may help you in that area, but in no way do I believe you have a mental disorder.

It sounds a lot to me like she has a few problems. I think there's a good chance your daughter is schizophrenic if she is hallucinating. She clearly also suffers from paranoia and anxiety and as of recently, even depression. Based on everything you listed here, who knows what else she really has. You need to set up an appointment with a counselor and get a professional opinion. Letting things like this go untreated could be very dangerous for your daughter and those around her. Mental disorders can easily escalate when not addressed. Good luck to you and your little girl.

You aren't crazy, I think you're shy. A mental disorder would be a severe case of the symptoms you described, to the point where you lock yourself away in your house for months at a time, losing your jobs, losing all your friends, and losing contact with your family members, living off of a trust fund your mother started for you that was supposed to be for college.

Some social anxiety, maybe some avoidance. They are disorders, but you probably are subclinical. If you've been trying to overcome them to no avail, see a counselor or therapist to help you work it thru. Btw, therapy is about wanting to improve the quality of life. It's not about having major shortcomings. Don't let your ego get in the way of expanding your life and feeling better about it.

You have a social disorder. Therapy and some mild medication can help you.
