does anyone know where i can find an avi to dvd converter that doesnt take 1 hour to convert?

plz help, i have downloaded every episode of bleach and would like to convert and burn to dvd in 1 program lik emy converter does now. the only problem is, it takes over 1 hour just to convert 5 episodes (2 hours of play). is there not any software that will reduce this speed?? as it took me less than 5 hours to download 180+ episodes and takes me 1 hour to burn 5.

If your dvd player supports DIVX

Then use nero and just put as many avis you can on a disc and burn as data.

My computer is really good and a 2hr movie takes about 45min then 16min to burn @ 16x

I have all the Bleach episodes and Death Note and Just to give you an idea if you convert to dvd like I like to do

I get 9 episodes of DeathNote onto 1 dvd and thats 36 episodes so thats 4 dvds

For bleach @ 180 you're looking at 20 dvds. At probably 180mb per episode.

just going to have to deal with it or burn as data

Oh yeah I use convertxtodvd the best software I have used.

I agree with the others, I have 1gb of ram and a dual core chip and mine still takes about 90 minutes for a dvd to convert. Anything quicker will be of lesser quality I should think. Nero is good! You could always just make a data dvd and put the avi files on the dvd and watch them with a comaptiable dvd player?

Converting file formats is a lenghty process. The only thing you could do is get a faster computer, especially a faster processor and maybe hard drive and RAM.

Maybe its not the program but more your computer.

If you ask me, one hour for two hours of footage isnt bad. But I would get somemore RAM for your computer, that will greatly speed things up.
