13.7 billion years, give or take. At least that's how long ago the Big Bang happened, and consequently the limit of our knowledge concerning the age of the universe. It's possible that the matter and energy from which our universe formed are significantly older, but we'll never know and it'll never matter.

Our particular Universe of set dimensions is 13.8 billion years old. The larger multi dimensional Cosmos is infinit. But that's just my opinion to fit my personal hypothesis on how the Universe came to be.
