In my honest views, arguments for religion have all the classic components of a mental disorder, except that their beliefs don't typically impair functioning. Quite the opposite in a lot of cases, apparently.
Religion and faith seems to have a lot of merit in terms of helping people find inner happiness, serenity and enlightenment. But as soon as you start introducing things like logic, truth, argument and proof into religious discussion, almost everybody (atheists and christians alike) starts to sound really stupid.

I don't consider myself a "religionist" and I don't argue with people about invisible friends...or gods for that matter. Sorry.
If someone argues like that against me it doesn't make me feel righteous or frustrated, just bored.

Well they have the same invisible friend - or do they? Is Mrs Pacman Mr Pacman with a bow on his head? Hmmm its just as relevent a question.
Anyhoo, I reckon they'd get more vociferous when the Muslim pointed out that they don't believe Jesus was the son of god or that he was crucified.
I guess it would make me feel a little frustrated about the world in general. Its so bloody obvious - there are 1000's of religions each believe they're the one true faith - they can't all be right - what is the sensible conclusion? Certainly not the one drawn by every theist 'well I believe in this one, so mine is the one true faith'

As a Christian in reponse to the third part of your question, I have felt at times, frustrated, angry, but not righteous, reason being is plain Scriptural teaching :Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
From what I have observed about Agnostics, and correct me if I am wrong, You believe that God exist, but is un-knowable.
Well ..I am not going to 'argue' against what you believe as I feel that you have made up your mind about that already, but what if what you have been told concerning that is not true ? would you want to know it ?

I believe God is beyond all our words and doctrines and that they are all likely reflections of the same truth filtered through human neuroses and cultures. But if there is a real God, I hope it will show in the way we live. Which means rather than arguing intellectually about whose God is the right one, we love each other and try to find our common humanity.
I am Christian.

A Muslim and a Christian would not be arguing about different Gods, the really stupid thing about all this is that they worship the same one - they just disagree about who represented him on earth.
The only way I have found to get these groups to agree is to say that you dont believe - then they unite in their efforts to "save" you which I find to be incredibly condescending

I avoid it. Arguing doesn't do much for either side. I've been in a couple of arguments in the past year or so. Afterwords I just feel stupid for jumping in in the first place.
In my view, my relationship with Jesus will be experienced by those who seek Him. An argument does very little, most of the time.

I don't really notice it. I just keep walking. I've seen lots of crazy things, and something like this wouldn't stand out to me unless they were causing a scene. At which point, I still keep walking, but I laugh too (mostly because they are causing a scene).

I think it's fun. Much like watching the presidential debates. The Reps and Dems can argue all day long ... but in the end, the Libertarians are the right ones ;-)

While they're distracted with each other, it gives me an oppurtunity to smack their heads together.
Honestly, I'd want to as well. The doubled up stupidity would send me into a twitching fit if I had to listen to it for too long.
