Start with some free info: http://howtobrew.com
Then either google search for home brewing suppliers in your area or look at some online suppliers.
They'll have your ingredient lists (recipes), basic equipment, and all the instructions you could possibly want...and all of them much better than you're going to get here.

you might also try EC Kraus, on line supply company with tons of information at their website.

Try to find a local brew store that is knowledgable, they need your support and they sure are handy when you are in the middle of a batch and you need something.

My advice, start simple, do a batch of beer from extract first to learn the process. Whole grains, and more complex recipes can come later if you like.

And finally, look for a home brewing group in your area. These groups are usually fun and informal. Many people are VERY into this and there is a ton of knowledge out there. Plus, it's a great way to taste other recipe's and you dont have to brew five gallons to find out if you like it or not.

Look for a place locally to you that sells home brewing supplies. Often they can be found at either a specialty cooking store, specialty home brewing store, health food store or sometimes a liquor store.
