hi,i`m a muslim and i`m interested in discussing religions,while i was talking with a christian friends i said that we muslims believe in virgin birth of christ ,the christian say and we too ,i told him but you believe that christ is son of God!!!! and that he married blessed mary ,he said no they were not married ,i`m asking christians here ,was God married to mary? if no then why do you say that christ is (((son))) of God?

No Mary was not married to God. God made it so that marry would give birth to a human baby that embodied his son Jesus. The son of God has existed for all time with God, nad is God. Jesus's time on earth was spent in the body that was birthed from Mary.

The Bible refers to Christ as the Son of God, and the Son of Man. Jesus was the Son of Man which refers both to his birth from Mary (a human, or man, in general terms) and also in reference to passages in Ezekiel and Daniel where the Christ is referred to as Son of Man. He is the Son of God because he was conceived through the power of God. Not because God was married to Mary, nor because God had sex with Mary. God allowed Mary to become pregnant as a virgin, and symbolically, he's the Son of God.

THe bible tells us that God, the Creator, the Holy Spirit, created Jesus in Mary's womb using her own human ovum. God does not have a physical form, except in the person of Jesus Christ. There was no physical act involved in Jesus' conception, which is why it is called immaculate.
If the Creator of the universe wants to create a baby in a human womb, and imbue that baby with the attributes of the Son of God, he can do that. He is the creator of the universe.
Marriage is a human sacrament to protect children. Mary had a husband, Joseph, who adopted Jesus and accepted that he was the Son of God. God did not need to 'marry' in the human sense - he is God.

God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are one God.
The Son was in the beginning with the whole of God.
He became a man to save the world.
God did not have sex to create Jesus.
The Son of God is a part of the whole of God and did exist before the world was created.
God is not married neither is the Son of God married but betrothed to the church.
Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 1 explains God said let US create man in OUR image.
Genesis 2 shows how man is created from the dust (flesh)
God breathed life into him (spirit)
and man became a living soul (soul)
God created man above the animals more than flesh which returns to dust but with an eternal spirit.
This truth is in the word of God and was available to Muhammad who could not read but believed a spirit that disagreed with the word of God.

Why don't you read what the Quran says about the birth of Jesus!
Do you believe God can do anything!
Did you read the part in the Quran that talks about how the angel came to Mary and told her what is going to happen and who will be born, and what she is going to name him!
Read it.
Jesus son of Mary. Then why do you ask if they were married! or, don't you believe God can do anything. Send Angels, create anything from nothing.
If you don't believe the Christians. Then read the Quran and see what it says about the birth of Jesus, and how the Blessed Mary found out. Read what the Quran says Jesus is. Some to remind you Spirit from God, Word of God. there are more. Read for yourself.
Ahmed, I know what the Quran says. I have read it cover to cover. Sorry to let you know, you may not intended it to be, but it is sound somewhat insulting to God. sorry. I hate to point out that to you. If you believe God can do anything, why not this one. God can create a massive universe, but He can't create a child! think about it. We are limited in our procreation, and depending on Him. He is God. Don't you believe God is Greater than anything and anyone!
I will not ask you to read the Bible. I will ask you to take a second look at your Quran. Did you know that at one point Jews and Christians came to Muhammad for advise. He said to them. "Look into Your book, for you have the truth." Did you know that!

they say he is the son of god because apparently god impregnated with his holy spirit a virgin 13 year old Mary she was never married to god she was married to a carpenter named Joseph . i think its just so they can sell more bibles.

well i am not christian but a jew so let me tell you how it really was..mary was jesus's mother and she was no virgin when she had him and she was married to some dude i forget but jesus most likely got married..after all jesus was a jew and was a rabbi
