You can but you won't get the benefit of your insurance discount. This is what your pharmacy is saying. However, it you need the medication asap and can't wait, then I would recommend paying for it out of pocket. Unless you have a program at work that will reimburse you for this expense, you will just wind up paying the whole price.

Depends on what it is and depends on what your phamacist will allow you to do. If it is a controlled substance, your pharmacist will be the decision maker. All states laws are different when it comes to controls. If it is not a control, you can definitley self pay. Some insurances allow vacation overrides. Some do not. Most insurances allow you to get a presription filled with 3/4 of it is gone. Usually 7 days or so "early" if it was a 30 day supply. Just talk to your pharmacist.

I am not sure about your insurance company but, mine when i had insurance allowed me one time a year where I could pick up a script(s) early for say going on vacation. Check the cost of the med you may be shocked at what the actual cost is. If you have to travel a bit and have limited ability to pick up your scripts and this is on going problem you will need to work it out the insurance company, sometimes they will work it out, because of extenuataiting circumstances.

Yes, you can self pay but it isn't worth it. I would try to hang in there and wait. For example my copayments with my insurance are $10.00, $25.00 and $40.00. Regular price for one of my medications is $160.00. I would rather pay my copay of $40.00. There are a couple of people here in my area who are in the same situation but they are addicted to pain medication and they really need to go into rehab because they will pay full price. Now that is a real problem. I hope that this isn't what you are dealing with... God bless

If you want to pay the cash price, you can pick it up. However, the price might be very high. Most people just wait the two days.

Of course. It'll be more expensive, though, because your insurance won't pay their part if it's too early..
