I've skipped my second period in a row now. There was some spotting last month though. My daughter is 18 months old and still a very motivated nurser lol. She only eats normal foods 2-3 times a day, if I'm lucky!

I got my period back actually but sometimes it's late or weak etc. Could it be because she nurses more than a few months ago?
I am not pregnant.

My son is 16 months old and still nursing and I've only recently started having regular periods. I started having them again when he was 9 months because of decreased nursing, but when he increased nursing again I skipped for another few months. Now that I've started weaning him they've come back.
Changes in nursing frequency and duration can cause you to have or skip your period, it's normal. If your pregnancy tests are normal and your checkups came out fine that is most likely the cause. Enjoy not having it while you can!

I have three kids all were breastfed so from my experience when I had like a weak period or late one it was because of stress, but there are other reason why your period can be that way, say like if your taking birth control it can be that way or if your doing exercises your body not use to. it depends on you and your stress level and/or daily activity.

Most nursing moms don't have a period while nursing. Since she's still nursing maybe your body can't figure out what it's doing and your hormones are getting mixed up... they want to come back, but you nursing isn't letting them... don't know... if you are that concerned ask your OB.

could be just your body adjusting to all the motherhood stuff. Are you sure your not pregnant? Sometimes as moms we tend to worry our selves when its usually nothing. My dad used to always say 'dont worry until you KNOW what your worrying about' any way Im sure you dont want to hear that. but then you could go to the doc. oh yeah, if you have pain also then go to the doctor. lots of luv toyou and baby
