Heaven and Hell are real places, and whether people choose to believe in them or not, does not change the fact they exist. To answer your question, if you have accepted Christ as your Saviour, then yes you will be with Him when you die...If you choose not to accept Him then you will go to hell, it's that simple.

Most Christians believe that all Christians go to heaven in the resurrection, mind you. Not when they die! This is in error.

However, a lengthy Bible study shows that there are two kinds of resurrections, a heavenly one and an earthly one.

Jesus hinted at this when he stated that he would from this point on no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until he returned in Kingdom power!. Indicating that in heaven whereto he went when resurrected, this is not found.

Also, the following scripture is to be noted:
Matthew 8:11, And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven: (ASV)
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Meditation on this clearly demonstrates this to be on earth.

A study of Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation 5:8-10, will reveal that God's kingdom is ruled from heaven by Christ and the Saints, but that they rule the earth and the nations on earth.

If you believe the accounts of the Bible, then you can know that heaven exists because Jesus died, went to heaven and came back to give us proof of heaven. If you don't believe in the Bible then you can simply know by thinking about death. Can you live your life however you want to and not have to give an account for what you have done? Do you believe that we are so free that we can murder and destroy things and people here in this life and get off scot free when we die?

If you read the bible you will find that when you die you are in sort of a soul sleep and will rise again to meet God in heaven when Jesus comes to bring the saved home to heaven. It is like no time has passed so basically when you wake in heaven it will seem like you just got there instantly but when in fact you have been asleep...and the awakend in the prescence of God.

No my dear,
Heaven does not exist. When you die your vehicles (physical, astral, etheric, soul, spirit) are disassembled: the physical vehicle (physical body) decays, the etheric body mimmics the decay of the physical, your astral body can "survive" for a while in the astral plane (which is why cremation is a good idea: when you are cremated you instantly destroy the physical, the astral and the etheric double), the soul (which is
the sumtotal of all the experiences you gathered while reincarnated) goes back to your permanent atom and your spirit continues to exist in the Monadic Plane. After death we go in to Pralaya (state of rest/sleep that varies in duration); the soul (mind/Manas) wakes up in Devachan, where it could decide to stay for a while, until it feels the urge to come back to Earth (reincarnation). Hell and Heaven are constructions of our own mind, are states of illusion.
After countless incarnations gathering experiences, we start our "way back to the source", to the Monad (our own Spirit), and conquer 4 important stages of spiritual evolution, called "initiations". The 4th initiation is the one that freed us from the reincarnation wheel, at this stage we ended our Karma and no longer need to reincarnate. Beings on this stage can choose to come back by their own volition (not by force of Karma to be reap for they already dealt with all of it), in order to help people still struggling here on Earth. After the 4th initiation these advanced beings eventually will take a 5th one (a.k.a. Ascension) and become what we call Masters.
Some very well known Masters are Jesus, El Morya, Djwhal Khul, The Christ (Maitreya), Guan Yin etc.
P.S. It is *my* understanding that Mother Theresa of Calcutta took the 4th Initiation in this lifetime, as the nun we all came to know and love. People about to take the 4th can be recognised by their very peculiar life styles: they no longer have a personal life, they are completely devoted to serve humanity etc., which is why I say she "took the 4th".
Hope this helps,
Hyleg

God has called you, otherwise you wouldn't be here! Believe that Jesus Christ, the son of God, died on the cross for your sins, was dead and buried, and rose again on the third day. Turn away from evil and seek the face of God is all that you do.
It is written: "these are those who have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb".
A great day is coming soon my friend; the invitation to come to Christ is going out all over the world just as it is written.

Faith is having confidence in God - it grows stronger
and stronger as you become more aquainted with who
God is - just like you get to know your best friend or
husband/wife, and even more than that!

That is what faith is about!
It's not blind and it's even better than "reason" that constantly
changes.

Heaven and hell aren't about reward and punishment. They are simply the result of what you do to yourself and your own life.

It's far more important to seek the truth. If you've found it, you won't need to worry about whether you have made mistakes. We all do, and God loves us despite that.

The Bible does NOT say people go to heaven when they die.

But if you are asking about salvation, God is forgiving. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).

I know that God is there; and I trust him to take care of us, and that we will be with him wherever he is.

There's no such thing as heaven or hell. When you die, you permanently cease to exist for all eternity.

You'll never fully appreciate your life if you're holding out hope for a fantasy world.
