I went to court a year ago and served a month of house arrest and was ordered to finish an outpatient program. I just finished the program, clean, but just looked at my court papers and noticed I was supposed to check in with probation every three months, not only when I've finished. I also havn't paid my court fees of a hundered bucks or so. Should I just check in with them? What if there's a warrant out?

I would say there is a very good chance there is a warrant on you. Call the probation office.

You can call your local police station and there are required by law to tell you if you have any outstanding warrents.

In addition, contact the court after doing the warrent check to make sure you have done the required things, if you were on probation they would have contacted you about it.

If you have not completed all terms of the court order, I would advise you to check in with the court.

Probation agents can enter/request warrants for violators. Contact your probation agent and see what they have to say.

One thing I don't quite get. How did you NOT know you were on probation?

You might want to call the court and let them know the situation.

I would contact my lawyer. Missing probation is no joke.
