Very tough decision. I went down that road once when a friend told me he was in love with me. we ended up dating, but it never felt right - i always wanted to just go back to being friends. once you've crossed over into a relationship it is very hard to go back to being friends unless both parties want to go back to being friends. even then, it will never be the same. I ended up breaking it off with him, against his wishes and now we dont speak at all....
I guess you need to ask yourself a few questions.
1) Would the two of you being in a relationship make sense?
2) Are you willing to deal with the repercussions of being rejected?
3) If you two did date, and it did not work out, would you want to recover your friendship? and if so, how would you do it?
4) Will you always wonder or eventually regret not telling her your true feelings?
All in all, you only live once. I say think things through, make sure you know what you are doing - but go for it. Be honest and sincere through the whole process. And it is cliche, but i think the "it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" works well here. Good Luck!

Personally, I think that you should let her know how you feel. She may be feeling the same way. And if she isn't then you two can talk about it and see where your relationship stands. It is never good to hold something inside whether it be good or bad.

i would lay it on the line and tell the broad, you never know, she might be secretly inlove w/ you also. But regardless of the outcome, at least you can say you tried and now you know. its always better to know, than not too as far as having a crush on someone.

i would say,don't keep your feelings hidden from her. but if you are ugly and think that she doesn't have any interest for you, keep your friendship. if you have any doubts...try it!
