After I gave birth I weighed 125 pounds. Now, 18 months later, I'm down to 107 (5'4 tall). Is this normal? I eat really good and enough. My daughter nurses throughout the day and at night, too. She also eats table food. My thyroid is ok.

Sounds normal especially if you have a small frame to begin with and have exercised at all.... I am similar. Many people are jealous. I can normally eat what ever when ever. My parents were worried about me for a while, but I knew I was eating healthy. As long as you feel healthy and your doctor is not worried there probably isn't a problem. Make sure you are having a snack and plenty to drink (water, juice, herbal tea) so that the weight loss isn't dehydration -- at least every couple hours.

Dang Girl!

I was 116 when i first got pregnant and 155 when i gave birth i stayed at about 145 until i got pregnant with baby number two 5 months later, was about 170 when i give birth and still weighing 140 now.

You got nothing to worry about, many woman wish they had the size you got after giving birth.

Breast feed does help wait lost.

Yeah actually for a lot of women it is. My close friend is smaller now and lighter now than even in highschool.

Iam smaller now than before, although i weight 5 pounds more, but iam only 8 months into breast feeding, while my friend did for 1 year.

It really spikes your metabolism, you burn an extra 500 calories a day breast feeding, where as pregnant it was only 300 in its hight.

Just make sure you havent lose muscle, be sure to build and tone, your body will eat itself to make protein for the milk if you're not getting enough in your body.

Perfectly normal for first time mums. People may look at you and think you are becoming anorexic (as they did after Princess Diana gave birth) but this does often happen after a first birth. Your body has to contend with a lot of demands on it's resources, just think about it.

It is ok to lose weight. Just make sure you are not WEAK. You just stick with your original diet schedule. You will be ok I bet.

Did you discuss with doctor about this???(probably you would, just in case if you missed?!!)

Don't be afraid. You will be alright.
