If you wear a waistcincher for long periods of time throughout the day, will it make your waist smaller and stomach flatter overtime?

No it'll make your stomach muscles lazy.

No, abdominal muscles will only weaken if they are not used continuously. A flatter stomach occurrs only through a combination of good diet and exercise. Fat is deposited on the belly just under the skin and also on the omentum which connects the intestine for food absorbtion. Only diet can reduce the belly fat and exercise will stimulate increased muscle tone/strength. A waistcincher will probably only provide a temporary illusion of toned muscles but may actually prevent you from utilizing the muscles in order to keep them functioning and toned.

no, in fact it will do just the opposite, the stomach muscles will come to rely on the cincher and become flabby and lazy. If you want a smaller more toned body you have to work for it.

No. Of course they would not. Eventually your fat would over take them in some sort of horendous blubber rebellion and overlap the sides in what some would call a "mushroom in buffet bloom".

No it will not. Only diet and exercise will do this. Your gene pool will also enter into this.
