Lamp brightness is a main difference. Look for the highest lumens value you can afford, too low & you need curtains to block out any sunlight.
Don't forget to tak into account lamp life & cost of replacement

Actually, you DON'T want a projector like you see in meeting rooms. They are poor quality, low resolution units, designed only for presentation and display, not for showing films. What you want is a home cinema projector - a totally different piece of kit.
Why? A top quality home cinema projector will give high clarity pictures, crystal clear definition, good contrast, deep blacks and clean whites. It will have a very quiet cooling fan and be very reliable. They also have the ability to project bigger pictures from any distance. A top quality home cinema projector sells for about £15,000.
At the cheaper end of the scale, the picture will not be as clear or well defined, the build quality will not be as good and the cooling fan will be noisier. They don't project good pictures when too close or too far from the screen either. But you can pick one up for about £500.
You pays your money and you makes your choice...

i've got had a 10' extensive exhibit set up interior the residing room for extremely just about 2 years now and with blinds closed that's not a controversy. I sue an Epson S3, yet i've got used the S4 & Powerlite 10+ besides. whether it could not look as good as while the room is genuinely dark, it nevertheless seems plenty good adequate to make certain for the duration of the day. as a count of fact my spouse likes to examine and he or she will nevertheless try this mutually as I watch television. i'd additionally recommend eliminating any overhead lighting fixtures while the television is on and decide for floor and table lamps. Granted it could not look as good as a plasma interior the daylight hours, yet i will take 10' over 40 two" any day of the week. the weeder

Resolution and picture brightness are the main things. Then you've got to think of the different inputs they have (i.e. what can you plug into them).
