I have helped a few people from her on IM with problems they are having flying their flight simulators with various airplanes. Approach problems, landings, takeoffs, all kinds of things. I was wondering if a few of you sim enthusiasts would be interested in something like a webinar that I might conduct on a weekly basis or whatever where I would go over a different subject each time. Most of the questions I'm asked relate not only to what someone is doing wrong and how to correct it but how does it work in the real airplane. I don't even have any simulator software so the real thing is all I can talk about. But so far it seems to be similar enough.

I accept IM and email if anybody is interested. Of course there would be no charge to anybody I just like talking about flying and showing off to people. At least that's something I've been told here on occasion.

Sounds like there is enough response to try it out. If you are interested send me a quick email at jrbauguss@sbcglobal.net and maybe one of you computer/internet geniuses can set up an IM confernce for a few of us and talk about a schedule or whatever. This is all new to me so it'll be you folks that will need to figure out the nuts and bolts. Thanks for all the interest. I suppose at some point I should post my experience and qualifications but gotta run now. Maybe I'll come up with something for the email replies.

That would be interesting to to see.

I have been playing FS X for a few months now and I love it. I don't think I have any questions or problems but I would still like to watch the webcam as I too love talking about flying.

I am begining to go for (real life) flight lessons, Fri. would be my second, and I was wondering if you would answer any questions from that as well.

Hey, I am an avid user of x-plane 8.60 and take it fairly seriously. If you haven't ever tried it you can download the demo for free at x-plane.com

I have a quick vid I made you can watch at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeiymQPvzAs of x-plane in action. There are planes with full 3D true to life cockpits available too.
